Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Garner and Olivia Wilde co-star with Hugh Jackman in the new film, Butter, which is scheduled for release in 2012.
Jackman will star in the new Civil Rights drama Selma, which should start shooting in August 2010.
Hugh stars in Real Steel (2011), a DreamWorks sci-fi film co-produced by Steven Spielberg. Filming on the project started in June 2010.
Hugh sings in Chinese during a cameo appearance in the film Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.
Fox studio has just bought Matt Lieberman's spec script Personal Security for Hugh Jackman, where he will play a "tough Gotham police detective" forced to play bodyguard to a spoiled heiress.
Unbound Captives co-starring Rachel Weisz is in pre-production.
Jackman is also currently working on creating a new comic book series, Nowhere Man, with U.S. publisher Virgin Comics and writer Marc Guggenheim, with hopes of adapting it to a film as well.
Jackman may star in The Greatest American Showman, a contemporary musical based on the life of P.T. Barnum. The female love interest part is being written with Anne Hathaway in mind.
According to Jackman, he will film Wolverine 2 in Japan sometime within the next two years.
